About Us

We are a family owned business that started with Teri's dream about 3 ½ years ago. Teri told her husband that she wanted to open a scrapbook store. Much to Teri's surprise, he said sure. So Teri got busy, pulled Mom into the picture, and then Teri and Mom finally pulled me into the picture. Let me start with Barb. or Mom as everyone calls her. Mom, for as long as I can remember, has been into crafts. She has crocheted, knitted, quilted, painted on shirts, did macramé, painted ceramics, sewed, stitched, rug hooked, and much, much more. You name it, Mom tried it and sometimes, she is doing all of these projects at the same time. What a multi-tasker!! About 4 years ago, she started to buy some stamps and started to make some cards. She then started to go and take some classes in carding making and found it to be her new love. Mom takes her time and likes to get things just right. Teri and I tease her that we can have 3 projects done to Mom's one, because Mom has to lay it all out, match it all perfect, design it just right, lay it all out again, and have it reach perfection before she calls it done. We know when Mom is deep into a project because she has taken over at least 2, 8 foot tables in the class room. He, He.. When you see a project done by Mom, you always know that she has put her Heart and Soul into that project and you will never be disappointed with something she has created. She is such an inspiration!!!

This store is Teri's dream come true. Teri has been putting together scrapbooks since she was in High School. I remember this old book she had that was a brownish-reddish color that had parchment like paper on the inside. Teri would put all her memorabilia into that book and write down how it affected her life. She is also an amazing artist. I was always jealous of how wonderful she could draw. Teri not only has the artistic background, she also has a retail background. Teri was a Manager for Target which gives her a great understanding of where things should be placed to catch people's eye. She also does research to know what is new and what is HOT in the scrapbooking and stamp world.

Teri is a very social person. She is easy to talk to and knows so much about the scrapbook/stamp world. But if you asked her to get up in front of people and talk about scrapbooking, she would probably pass out.

This is where I come in. My name is Jeni. After months of encouragement from Teri and Mom, and I mean months, I finally agreed to come join Teri and Mom in this awesome adventure. I have been blessed with a gift to teach. I have always wanted to be a teacher, but I really never had the opportunity to use my skills other than for preschoolers at church. Since I started scrapbooking and stamping with Mom and Teri, I have learned a great deal and I take great pride in creating projects that I can bring to you and to share what I have learned with all of you. I take care of the classes at the store and make sure each class is exciting and shows you new ideas. I really enjoy teaching all of you and look forward to seeing you in the classroom.

Our Families

Since this is a family business, the rest of our families are all involved. This store would not be what it is today with out Teri's Husband. He painted, and cleaned, and did the floors, and redid the floors, and redid the floors again. He has organized, and hauled around fixtures. He has put in many long nights getting the store to what it is today. He can even be seen working the register in the store from time to time. My husband works mainly behind the scene for us. He keeps the website up and running, keeps all the computers up to date and takes care of our three girls when I am busy at the store. He also works in the store from time to time. Our Dad passed away in November of 2000. He would be really proud of the store and we know he is there is spirit.

Our Staff

We have got the best staff that any business could ever have. Their customer service and product knowledge is outstanding. During each class we have knowledgeable staff on site to assist with any questions you may have. We want to thank them for making our store a success.
